Claiming number 15 in the Australian In The Mix Awards DJ poll, he is definitely becoming one of the established stars in the Australian DJ Scene. Having spent early days in his career working with Matt Darey and managing his label Darey Products. Ahmet has moved on to become an icon himself creating his own sound and style through his productions and his podcast ‘Voyage to Valinor’.
Ahmet quickly made his way into the scene both nationally and internationally. Playing for world-renowned brands including, Sensation, Trance Energy, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Stereosonic & Slinky, not only in Australia but also abroad in China, Hong Kong & New Zealand. Supporting such acts as Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Eddie Halliwell, Andy Moor, John O’Callaghan, Solarstone, Matt Darey, Roger Shah, Tenishia, John ‘OO’ Fleming and more. It is clear as to why Ahmet has been the choice to play along side many internationals through out Australia with Roger Shah & Lisa Lashes claiming Ahmet’s warm up to be “the best warm up set I’ve ever heard”.
Ahmet started his podcast ‘Voyage to Valinor’ in October 2008 and has gained popularity at an outstanding rate. With over 10,000 subscribers in such a short period of time, his unique style brought forward in his podcast has gained more popularity through out the years.
Ahmet’s talents extend beyond the decks and into the studio where he has been working hard on several productions. Signing various tracks to numerous labels he has gained support from the godfather of the DJ scene Paul Oakenfold, who supported Ahmet in his renowned BBC Radio 1 Essential mix.
